Traveler - Upgrade from 9.0.0.1IF2 to 9.0.1 failed

Unfortunately, the Traveler upgrade from 9.0.0.1IF2 to 9.0.1 doesn't seem to work on one of our servers. Trying to start Traveler results in the following messages:

  1. Do you did an unistall and a reinstall of traveler code? Or did you just dropped the updated code over the existing installation?

    1. I tried an upgrade from an existing installation of IBM Traveler 9.0.0.1IF2 to 9.0.1 as the headline of the article alreay says ;-)

    1. Unfortunately, there are no news concerning that issue, yet. I think I'm going to open a PMR.

  3. I found the cause for our problem and a solution for it: Most of the tables contained in the traveler-database were duplicated somehow., for example dbo.accounts & LNT.accounts. The tables with the LNT-prefix were empty, so i deleted them. Another problem affected two rows in the table sec_records that were still nullable. That's why the SQL statements in the script fixup11.sql failed in the first place. I found the statements to alter these rows in the script fixup9.sql which is supposed to be run when upgrading from v.8.5.4beta 2 to v.9. So i ended up executing the SQL-statements manually one by one, but now it seems that everything is fine. Therefore, i guess that a previous upgrade already went wrong and failed to properly update the database schema, or IBM just forgot to add the statements to alter the problematic rows.
